This Jute bag illustration is inspired by the traditional clothing of the island of my origins: Martinique. I named the bag ‘Amelia’. Read more
Hi guys, I’m so excited to share with you what I’ve been working on lately! This shopper bag is one of the products I turned into a fashion artwork. It’s illustrated by hand so each and every bag print is unique and never the same. This one is called ‘Capucine’ which is a cute little orange flower (in French). Read more
If you follow my blog you know I love pink. So naturally I enjoy using this color in my artwork as well. Lately I’ve been doing some ‘inspired by’ illustrations whenever I’m not working on projects for clients. It’s just a fun way to relax (yes it still relaxes me even if it’s also my job). I usually turn to instagram wich I love because there are so many beautiful visuals and pick someone who inspires me to draw them. This is an illustration I created of Elle Howard (@EllHoward). I found her on instagram. Her beautiful pink hair made me want to turn her into an art work. Read more
Another one of the booklets I illustrated for my collaboration with LVMH. Illustration face: I often make illustrations from head to tow but I love it when I get the chance to create a portrait sized artwork. This is a story about two people who met each other through social media. One of my favorite covers of all the booklets I made because I like the way the black from the top creates contrast with the brown paper. Read more
Yesterday was such a fun night. I was invited by Disney for the movie premiere of Captain America 2 (The winter soldier) in Amsterdam. I love Disney and Marvel so of course I was happy to go. My younger sister joined me so that made it even more fun! Read more
Book illustration is my most recent work. Actually they are booklets made out of beautiful brown paper. Remember the valentine sessions in collaboration with Moët & Chandon I told you about? Well these booklets are the personal stories of each couple I’ve met that evening. I translated it into fairy tails including personal details in the illustrations.
Elie Saab Perfume smells like unicorns & fairy dust
It’s almost spring. Love this time of the year. The weather, the outfits, the flowers..everything. I personally get my most creative ideas around spring time. Must be that lovely energy, it works inspiring. Seeing people dressing light and colorful, nature flourishing everywhere around us. C’est trop beau! Makes me want to be surrounded with beautiful things. Super happy with this new fragrance; L’eau Couture. It smells like unicorns and fairy dust. Thank you Elie Saab for this amazing gift! This Valentine’s day I had quite a few dates. Ten to be exact. On the same evening that is of course. For this romantic evening I collaborated with Moët & Chandon (LVMH) for a special event. The evening took place at the design hotel Okura. Moët & Chandon wanted to organize something in an intimate setting with a select group of friends. So here I was facing a total of ten couples at my table (one couple at a time). Each of them very well known. Guests included Vogue Netherland editor-in-chief Karin Swerink, Glamour editor-in-chief Sabine Geurten, Esquire editor-in-chief Arno Kantelberg and many more very Read more
Just finished this valentine illustration.
Romance is a lifestyle. It’s an old novel, a pretty dress, little flowers or cute curls. It’s all part of the mis en scène that makes me smile. Romance doesn’t always involve a romantic relationship. It can be a feeling you get while hearing a song or watching a pretty picture. When I think about romance I think about softness and embracing your vulnerability. Of course if you happen to be in love, these sides of you will show more Read more
