This editorial makes me dream. It’s soft, cool and the fashion is on point. Freja Beha Erichsen is photographed by Alasdair McLellan for Vogue UK January 2015. The styling is by Francesca Burns, hair by Anthony Turner and Make-up by Lucia Pica. No more words. Let the images speak.
Freja Beha Erichsen just has that kind of coolness. You know.
This girl looks from This 70’s inspired shoot makes me want to go to a thriftshop right now. Only problem is I love the vintage look but I don’t like the feeling of wearing actual vintage clothing so much (except if it was owned by someone I know before). Bags or accessories would be fine I guess.
Drink your coffee (or tea) in style! This is one of the hand-illustrated xl mugs I created recently. You know that moment you have for yourself where you just want to indulge in your thoughts and nip on some delicious drink, doesn’t it just taste so much better when your drinking out of a fabulous mug? This Jute bag illustration is inspired by the traditional clothing of the island of my origins: Martinique. I named the bag ‘Amelia’. Read more
Hi guys, I’m so excited to share with you what I’ve been working on lately! This shopper bag is one of the products I turned into a fashion artwork. It’s illustrated by hand so each and every bag print is unique and never the same. This one is called ‘Capucine’ which is a cute little orange flower (in French). Read more
I found this Dior Editorial (Dior magazine) with model Elisabeth Erm. The pictures are shot by Camilla Akrans. What a beautiful series of photographs. I adore the enchanted theme. Love how the model dwells in a sea of flowers. The lilac and powder pink colors make me dream of a romantic fairytail. The pastel colored make-up is so pretty. Elisabeth looks like an elf. Just the way I like to see models. Enjoy the pictures. Read more
If you follow my blog you know I love pink. So naturally I enjoy using this color in my artwork as well. Lately I’ve been doing some ‘inspired by’ illustrations whenever I’m not working on projects for clients. It’s just a fun way to relax (yes it still relaxes me even if it’s also my job). I usually turn to instagram wich I love because there are so many beautiful visuals and pick someone who inspires me to draw them. This is an illustration I created of Elle Howard (@EllHoward). I found her on instagram. Her beautiful pink hair made me want to turn her into an art work. Read more
Another one of the booklets I illustrated for my collaboration with LVMH. Illustration face: I often make illustrations from head to tow but I love it when I get the chance to create a portrait sized artwork. This is a story about two people who met each other through social media. One of my favorite covers of all the booklets I made because I like the way the black from the top creates contrast with the brown paper. Read more
Book illustration is my most recent work. Actually they are booklets made out of beautiful brown paper. Remember the valentine sessions in collaboration with Moët & Chandon I told you about? Well these booklets are the personal stories of each couple I’ve met that evening. I translated it into fairy tails including personal details in the illustrations.
